Scott came to Christ Church as curate in 2005. After the election of Larry Benfield as bishop, Scott accepted the position of vicar at Christ Church. He became the rector in January of 2009. He graduated from Virginia Theological Seminary in 2005 and worked as a carpenter and building contractor prior to attending seminary.

Kate began her ministry at Christ Church on All Saints’ Day, 2007. She has a graduate degree from Harvard Divinity School and completed her Ph.D. in systematic theology at The Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley in 2012.

Joyce is the archdeacon for the diocese of Arkansas and has served at Christ Church since 2006. She is active in a variety of nonprofit ministries and is a great resource to anyone seeking to put their faith to work in service to our community.

Patricia began her ministry here in 2010, bringing many years of experience. She is a trained Level 1 catechist, a certified yoga instructor, the chair of the Keller Fund for Mission, and a board member at the House of Prayer.

Tiffany coordinates Christian Formation for 6th – 12th grade youth. She has worked as a youth director in several churches and as the Diocesan Youth Coordinator in Arizona. She has extensive training in a variety of youth ministry models, including Journey to Adulthood.

Murdock leads the Sunday afternoon youth community. He has been a leader in youth and young adult ministry in the diocese for several years, and has served as the assistant director for summer programs at Camp Mitchell.

Steve has been the organist and choirmaster since 1987. A graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, he served at churches in Texas and Missouri before coming to Christ Church.

Carol Lou coordinates volunteers and manages the day-to-day administration of the parish. She has worked at Christ Church since 1972.

Bettylee has served Christ Church as receptionist and secretary since 1945. She also sings in the choir and brightens many people’s day with phone calls and cards.
Lally Brown has been a Christ Church parishioner since 2001. She sings in the Christ Church choir, has served on the vestry, and works part time in the church office, primarily preparing worship materials and editing our monthly newsletter, The Open Doors.

Nancy retired from U.S. Department of State Foreign Service in 1987 and returned to her home state of Arkansas. She has been a member at Christ Church since 2001 and Bookstore Manager since December 2007.

Phyllis has been the accounting manager since 2005. She previously served in the armed forces for twenty years.
