The feast day of C. S. Lewis is November 22nd and to celebrate we thought we’d engage in one of C.S. Lewis’s favorite activities—walking. Our walk will take us over three days as we backpack through a portion of the Buffalo River Trail. Along the way we’ll have readings from Lewis and reflections to guide our conversation and contemplation as we hike. No backpacking experience required, but we will be hiking several miles over hilly and rocky terrain. If hiking Pinnacle Mountain with a heavy pack sounds intimidating then this hike is probably not for you. We’d be glad to help you gage your physical preparedness and even give you some tips to train for the hike over the coming months. Cost for the hike is $60/person which includes meals and transportation. For more information, contact the Rev. Ragan Sutterfield, Andrew Carberry, or the Rev. Canon Jason Alexander.
