Faith in Formation

Sunday Morning and Beyond.

We believe that formation in the Christian faith is meant to be a lifelong process. Every age and interest group has a unique perspective on the mystery of God, so our Christian education offerings honor the unique witness that people of all ages bring. Learn more about offerings for specific age groups: children, youth, and adults. Whether you’re looking for a quiet place to pray during the week or a group with which to share your journey, we hope that you will find what you are looking for in this community.

Youth on Sunday Morning

Teen Text and Re:Form – 9:15 AM

We offer a complete youth ministry program of spiritual formation for youths of grades 6 – 12. Youth meet in the Sixth Street Library where we talk about that Sunday’s readings and discuss how they can pertain to our daily lives. We use the Teen Text and re:Form resources to spark conversation.

Adults on Sunday Morning

Join in regular book studies, topical discussions, and presentations in Parke Hall. This class is led by Christ Church clergy and guests.

Sunday Bible Study – 9:15 a.m.

This class, led by J.B. Cross, examines how Episcopalians talk about life and God and how God speaks to us through the lens of each Sunday’s lectionary texts. Our resident art historian Floyd Martin offers an exploration of images related to the texts. This class meets in the Bishop’s Room.
