The open red doors at Christ Church are something of an emblem of the life you will encounter within them. They stand open as an invitation to whomever might wander past. Depending on what time of day you enter you might find a hushed place of prayer in the heart of the city. Or perhaps a room charged with the energy of sung praise on a Sunday morning, its pews filled with old and young, rich and poor, lifelong believers and curious seekers.
We’ve been called an eclectic congregation gathered in traditional worship. New generations are discovering and revitalizing old forms of worship and making them relevant and nourishing to life in our postmodern world. We believe quite passionately that the risen Christ still comes to us in human form. Christ comes in the form of the stranger in need at our doorstep. Christ comes among us every time even two or three gather in his name. So whatever your faith background, whatever your loves, questions, or suspicions might be about church, we hope you come see us.
