Children’s Ministries
CHILDREN’S SUNDAY SCHOOL (DEEP BLUE) | SUNDAY, 9:15AM, PARKE HALL/CLASSROOM
All children ages 3 through 3rd grade are invited to join us for our Children’s Sunday School formation hour between our 8AM and 10:30AM services!
Children gather in Parke Hall where we welcome each other by singing songs and hearing the day’s Bible story. From there, the children split into their 2 level groups (Level 1: Pre-K through Kindergarten, Level 2: 1st-3rd Grade) to dive into our Deep Blue program!
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL (VBS) | AGES 3- 5TH GRADE, SUMMER
Vacation Bible School is our free annual summer children’s program offered to all children ages 3 through 5th grade. VBS at Christ Church is a collaborative weeklong themed day camp for kids to learn about God and religion through a variety of fun, age-appropriate activities such as music, games, and arts and crafts. Participants also make new friendships with children from other churches across Little Rock.
Youth Ministries
Episcopal Kids Community (EKC) (4th-6th Grade) | 1st and 3rd Sundays, 3:00-4:30PM | Youth Room
Episcopal Kids Community is a youth program for all current 4th - 6th graders. EKC provides our younger youth the space to play games, ask questions about their faith, and grow in community with one another, all while having fun in a safe, welcoming setting!
6th grade will be a “flex year” for families to decide if they would like to keep their youth in EKC, discern if they are ready to be in our older youth program, Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) or if the youth are up to it, being a part of both programs!
To join, contact Marvin McLennon, Director of Children and Youth Ministries.
CHILDREN’S CHAPEL | SUNDAY, 10:30AM, PARLOR
During our 10:30AM services, we offer Children’s Chapel to all children ages 3 through 3rd grade. Children’s Chapel happens in the Parlor where children experience their own church service filled with music, that Sunday’s Gospel reading and reflection.
Episcopal Youth Community (EYC) (4th-6th Grade) | Sunday, 4:00-5:30PM | Youth Room
Episcopal Youth Community is a program dedicated to all 6th - 12th graders. EYC and youth ministry engagement is a wonderful way to spread Christ’s love throughout your community as well as sharing God’s love with one another. EYC provides youth with a safe place to be who they are, find out who they are, as well as help them find their place in the Episcopal church and the wider world.
Our meetings will consist of games, team-building activities, lessons learned through the stories scripture, and participation in service projects. EYC teaches youth how to be disciples who will go out and make disciples along with fostering deep friendships and relationships that can’t be achieved through other extra curricular activities.
To join, contact Marvin McLennon, Director of Children and Youth Ministries.
FAMILY WORSHIP SERVICE | 4TH SUNDAYS, 9:15AM
All families are invited to join us on the 4th Sunday of the month in the church as we celebrate Holy Eucharist with child-friendly guitar music. Each child has an opportunity to share and engage with worship leaders and others children. All are welcome!
Senior High Coffee Hour (9th-12th grade) | Once a Month, 12-1PM
Classes can be stressful, so why not take a break with your peers! All 9th-12th graders are invited to join us for our monthly Senior High Coffee hour.
Feel free to come relax, say hi, grab a bite to eat or drink, and hang out with other senior high youth! All coffee and tea drinkers are welcome! SHCH meets at Mugs Cafe in North Little Rock (515 Main St, North Little Rock, AR 72114).
To join, contact Marvin McLennon, Director of Children and Youth Ministries.
