the Rev. Dr. Kate Alexander, Rector

Kate began her ministry at Christ Church on All Saints’ Day, 2007. She has a graduate degree from Harvard Divinity School and a Ph.D. in systematic theology from The Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley. She is the author of Saving Beauty: A Theological Aesthetics of Nature.


The Rev. Hannah Hooker, Associate Rector

Hannah began her ministry at Christ Church on July 1, 2018. Hannah was born and raised in North Little Rock, Arkansas. She attended Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas, and Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia. Hannah is a lifelong Episcopalian and avid baseball fan.


The Rev. Ragan Sutterfield, Associate Rector

Ragan began his work at Christ Church on October 1, 2017.  He is a graduate of Virginia Theological Seminary and is the author, most recently, of Wendell Berry and the Given Life.


the rev. Joyce Hardy, Deacon

Joyce has served at Christ Church since 2006. She is active in a variety of nonprofit ministries and is a great resource to anyone seeking to put their faith to work in service to our community.


Marvin McLennon, Director of Children & Youth Ministries

Marvin grew up in Little Rock and attended Hendrix College in Conway. After college, he traveled to Louisiana for Episcopal Service Corps, where he served in youth leadership rolls for the diocese and St. James Episcopal Church in Baton Rouge. Marvin joined the Christ Church staff in 2016, and leads Sunday morning Christian formation, Episcopal Kids Community (EKC), and Episcopal Youth Community (EYC).


SteveN Bullock, Organist & Choirmaster

Steve has been the Organist and Choirmaster since 1987. A graduate of Ouachita Baptist University, he served at churches in Texas and Missouri before coming to Christ Church.


Thomas Alexander, Director of Communications and Associate Organist & Choirmaster

Thomas joined the Christ Church music staff in 2017. In 2019, he became Director of Communications, overseeing parish-wide communications and preparation of worship materials. A graduate of Hendrix College, he studied organ with Timothy Allen. Thomas is the Sub-Dean of the Central Arkansas Chapter of the American Guild of Organists, and is a member of the Episcopal Church’s Executive Council and Standing Commission on Liturgy and Music.


Carol Lou Flowers, Parish Administrator

Carol Lou coordinates volunteers and manages the day-to-day administration of the parish. She has worked at Christ Church since 1972.


Candace McCallister, Green Groceries

Candace McCallister is a Licensed Associate Counselor and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner. She has additional training in holistic health. She has a passion for healthy food and interdisciplinary approaches to healing and wholeness.
