On Thursday, May 30 at 7pm, Christ Church will offer a service of Holy Eucharist in commemoration of the feast of the Ascension. The Christ Church Choir will join with the Trinity Cathedral Choir to sing Gerald Finzi’s God is gone up and Ferdinand Schaller’s Ascendit Deus. Christ Church organist Thomas Alexander and Trinity Cathedral organist Victoria Mathis Harden will play movements from Olivier Messiaen’s L’Ascension. Incense will be used at this service, childcare will be provided, and a festive reception will follow. All are welcome!
