The 2019-2020 season of the Arts at Christ Church will celebrate the thirtieth year of our Nichols and Simpson pipe organ, featuring organ concerts throughout the year. To kick-off our year of celebration, Christ Church welcomes world-renowned organist Dr. Janette Fishell, chair of the organ department at the Jacobs School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana. An active recitalist, Fishell has performed the complete works of Johann Sebastian Bach, César Franck, and Petr Eben. In concert at Christ Church, Fishell's program will include works by Bach, Franck, and others, and she will conclude the concert with Maurice Duruflé's masterpiece, Prelude, Adagio, and Choral Varié sur le theme de Veni Creator.
